Mudakaratta Modakam Sada Vimukti Sadhakam Kaladharavatamsakam Vilasiloka Rakshakam Anayakaika Nayakam Vinashitebha Daityakam Natashubhashu Nashakam Namami Tam Vinayakam
I bow to Lord Vinayaka, who joyfully holds the modaka (sweet of divine bliss) in his hand and who ceaselessly strives for the liberation of his devotees. He wears the crescent moon as his ornament and, with a spirit of playful grace, protects all the worlds. He stands alone as the one true master for those who have no other refuge, and he destroys the demonic forces that assail them. For all who surrender at his feet, he swiftly annihilates every trace of inauspiciousness.

To the arrogant who refuse to bow, he reveals a fearsome form, yet his true countenance shines with the gentle radiance of a newly risen sun. He is eternally undecaying, reverenced by the gods, and he rescues those who surrender to him from the most overwhelming calamities. He is the lord of the gods, the lord of all treasures, the lord with the majestic elephant face, and the lord of the celestial hosts. He is the great lord, supreme beyond the supreme; I take refuge in him without ceasing.

He is the auspicious power that sustains all worlds and the force that vanquishes even the mightiest of demons. His expansive form is a boon to all, and his noble elephant face reflects his imperishable nature. He is the bestower of compassion, the wellspring of forgiveness, the giver of joy, and the source of all glory. To those who bow before him with reverence, he grants the gift of a refined and illuminated mind. I offer my salutations to his radiant, shining form.

He wipes away the sufferings of the destitute and the helpless, and he is the worthy vessel of all ancient words of praise. He is the beloved first son of Lord Shiva, the destroyer of the three cities, and he crushes the arrogance of the enemies of the gods. He wields a power so terrible that it can annihilate the delusions of worldly existence, and he is adorned with the splendor of fire and the elements. From his temples flows the fragrant rut of grace, like sacred wisdom flowing from the ancient Puranas. I worship this primordial, elephant-formed lord.

His single tusk gleams with a beauty beyond compare, and he is the son of Lord Shiva, who conquered Yama, the lord of death. His true form is inconceivable and without any limit, and he severs the obstacles that bind the soul. He dwells perpetually in the innermost cave of the heart of yogis, an unfailing presence of stillness and light. Upon that Ekadanta, the single-tusked one, I meditate continuously and without end.

Ganesha Pancharatnam गणेश पञ्चरत्नम्
By Adi Shankaracharya · 6 Verses · ~8th Century CE आदि शंकराचार्य · 6 श्लोक · ~8th Century CE
The Ganesha Pancharatnam, meaning "Five Jewels of Ganesha," is a celebrated hymn composed by Adi Shankaracharya in praise of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. Consisting of five exquisite verses in a flowing, rhythmic meter, the stotra extols Ganesha as the supreme lord who bestows liberation, destroys inner demons, showers grace upon devotees, and dwells eternally in the hearts of yogis. It is traditionally recited during Ganesh Chaturthi and at the beginning of new endeavors, invoking Ganesha's blessings for wisdom, prosperity, and the removal of all impediments.
